July 10, 2006 - VAN NUYS, CA - Leading national fulfillment company, Moulton Logistics Management, has introduced the latest in a series of information technology innovations: a new, comprehensive reporting tool that captures and reports key information on a single page.
Dubbed the Dashboard, the new information display allows clients to obtain at a glance, up-to-date information on a series of indicators that the client has determined to be vital to marketing success. Added together, these indicators provide the client with an immediate impression of the state of his overall business.
Using the new dashboard tool, marketers have at their disposal a "snapshot" of their entire business. Among the kinds of information that can be viewed via the Dashboard format are such indicators as orders and shipments, status of freight account, fulfillment costs, customer service costs and credits vs. shipments.
Prior to the introduction of the Dashboard, it was necessary to review a series of individual reports - as many as six to ten - that reflected information that is now reduced to a single page. Also, by displaying report highlights side by side, the highly visual display invites telling comparisons that are not always apparent when data is reported on individual pages.
While the information is clear and simple, the Dashboard employs several forms of arresting graphics to communicate the data it covers.
"The format alone graphically demonstrates - literally -- the irregularities that simply wouldn't show up in a standard format," said company president, Larry Moulton. "For instance, by charting orders in juxtaposition with shipments, problems virtually present themselves."
