February 18, 2005 – Van Nuys, CA – Moulton Logistics Management (http://www.moultonlogistics.com), a leading national fulfillment company, has announced it has been selected by Hearthware Home Products, Inc. to fulfill Hearthware’s latest product, the Nu-Wave Oven Pro.
Hearthware, manufacturer of countertop infrared ovens since 1997, recently rolled-out its newest oven following extensive media and creative testing dating back to last August.
“It roasts, grills, steams, bakes, fries and barbecues,” said Gene H. Kim, Hearthware’s Director of Operations. “It’s really many appliances in one.”
The Nu-Wave Oven Pro utilizes three different cooking methods, conduction, convection and infrared, to prepare a wide variety of foods in a short time. Because of this “triple combo cooking power,” there’s no need to preheat or defrost food before cooking. Frozen foods can be taken from the freezer and placed directly directly in the oven.
Three-way cooking also allows multiple items to be cooked at the same time, and most foods cook in half the time of a conventional oven.
The Nu-Wave Oven Pro is being promoted via a 30-minute infomercial and is priced at three payments of $39.99, plus shipping and handling.
Fulfillment is being handled by Moulton Logistics.
“We decided on Moulton for a variety of reasons, said Kim. “Their technology is very advanced, and it’s applied in many ways, including their reporting system and call center. Also, we benefit from really favorable freight rates because of Moulton’s high shipping volume. And their closeness to the L.A/Long Beach ports, alone, saves us thousands of dollars.”
